This story is set in two arcs. The beginning in South Korea & North Korea (1990) and the end in San Francisco, California (1995).

I recommend mobile for the carrd and strawpage!

What are “parasites”?

Parasites are creatures the size of a hamster that take the form of real insects, allowing them to easily camouflage themselves from the human eye. Parasites infect the brain of a human who feels weak, aggressive, jealous, etc. Basically, someone going through an unstable period in their life; the parasites take advantage of this human weakness to infect the person. Only a few people are infected.

What happens after infection?

Depending on the individual, the infection may be more severe or not. Parasites feed on human aggression. At first, they only exhibit cannibalistic tendencies and are very sensitive to loud noises; when the human accepts the infection as part of themselves or as something positive, they develop a unique set of traits and abilities related to the insect the parasite mimics.

Stages of the parasite:

1. Accept the parasite or escape its negative control; if you don’t accept it, it’ll leave your brain lol.2. Once you accept it, it’ll start giving you abilities and things that’ll help you feel “better.” Ex: If you’re a bad soccer player, it’ll give you the ability to be good out of nowhere.3. You’ll have abilities from the insect that infected you, and your body may deform to accommodate them. Ex: Whatever the fuck happens in Devilman Crybaby, paraysite and Tokyo ghoul.4. If you no longer have control over your parasite, you move on to the next stage ↓

What happens when you lose control of your parasite?

—Your skin starts to melt away slowly; your body becomes more monstrous, and only your head remains somewhat or fully human.
—If the parasite can’t feed on other humans, the human’s body quickly melts away like acid, but the skull remains intact so the parasite can escape. If you break the skull before the parasite escapes, it will die as well.
—They’ll attack any uninfected human as soon as they see them; they’re like animals. They’re just hungry.

More info:

—The infected will usually stop eating humans if they see any visible signs of infection in them. However, they will attack if provoked or if the half-infected is hostile toward them.—Once the infected reach Stage 2, they cannot die as easily as humans. They can recover from most injuries and damage, ALTHOUGH they still feel the pain of these injuries when they are inflicted.—To kill those in stages 2–3, you need to mutilate them or severely damage their bodies, but the infected’s resilience and regenerative abilities make this very difficult to do. Severely burning them can also kill them.

Can I create my own OCs?

YES!!! SHOW ME!!!!! The insects CAN be duplicated, except for the centipedes, for lore reasons.

Thank you for reading!
